Lovech region is located in the central part to the north of the Stara Planina mountain, occupying 4 128 sq km. The population living in the region is around 155 900, with 40 000 people living on the major city Lovech. There are a lot of mountain cities, which offer nice possibilities for tourism, to name a few – Teteven, Troyan, Aprilci.
