EU will decide in fall the date for Bulgarian acceptance
The executive commission delayed a final recommendation on Bulgaria's entry date. This was announced on the EU parliament session on 16 May. The planned date for Bulgaria and Romania to join the EU in January 2007 may be maintained, but the two countries have to show their progress in fighting crime and improving state administration until October.
