Property prices increased after EU accession |
|
For comparison the increase in property prices for the whole last year is only 14.7%. These indexes confute the comments of some brokers that the prices will become steady, as the peak of the apartments’ value is already reached. An indication for this is the fact that in Varna, where the properties are most expensive (820 Euro per sq m), is the greatest increase of 16% for 3 months. The second most expensive spot is Sofia with average price of the properties of 790 Euro per sq m. There the increase for the last three months is estimated to be 14.3%. Next in the statistics is Burgas with 655 Euro per sq m with increase of only 1,2% due to the low return of investments from the apartments there. The average real estate prices for Bulgaria are going to reach 500 Euro per sq m, as for the first three months of 2007 the average value is 444.1 Euro per sq m, as in the National Statistical Institute database. The prices exceeding 500 Euro per sq m are also recorded in Bulgaria cities of Plovdiv, Stara Zagora and Rousse. |
