New golf project in Banya |

The partners have reached an agreement on the paying-up of the authorized capital. The municipality has 34% of the joint venture and has contributed to the balance sheet 22 land plots and buildings in Banya evaluated at 12.6 million levs. The mayor of Karlovo Naiden Naidenov insisted earlier this year the authorized capital of the private investor, which is 25 million levs, not to be paid up in installments. According to Hristo Kovachki, local investor and businessman, 60 million euro will be the cost of the construction, scheduled to begin on April 1. The existing Banya sports complex and infrastructure will be renovated and the buildings will be overhauled. The first stage of the project is the development of the spa center. The next stage of Banya spa and golf resort includes the construction of the golf course and the hotel and village complex. At the present time there are three operating golf courses in Bulgaria. Because of the growing foreign investments and the interest in holiday properties, several golf complexes are planed and some of them are under construction.
