Average mortgage interest drops down to 6.55%

Interest rates on mortgages averaged 9.31 percent a year.

The annual percentage rate for a ten year loan to the amount of 50,000 levs, including the commission fees is between 6.71 and 7.76 percent. The cost of mortgage borrowing from DZI bank dropped from 9.5 to 7.65 percent.

However, the collapse in interest rates is not likely to occur. But there is still possibility for improvement and extension of the customer services, offered by the local banks.
